• INTERNET MARKETING

  • A successful Internet marketing campaign may drive organic search results to pages, but it also may involve the use of paid advertising on search engines and other pages, building high quality web pages to engage and persuade, addressing technical issues that may keep search engines from crawling and indexing those sites, setting up analytics programs to enable site owners to measure their successes, and improving a site's conversion rate which is the number or percentage of visitors who convert casual content views or website visits into desired actions based on subtle or direct requests from marketers, advertisers, and content creators.

So in addition to search engine optimization techniques, we can also help you develop your online marketing strategy from simply helping you set up adwords on Google, to full online marketing including email newsletters and innovative marketing solutions. Web Banners

A web banner or banner ad is a type of internet advertising. This type of online advertising involves placing an advertisement on a web page in conspicuous locations. It's intent is to attract traffic to a website by linking to the website of the advertiser. The advertisement is constructed from an image (GIF, JPEG, PNG), JavaScript program or multimedia object using technologies such as Silverlight, Shockwave or Flash, often employing animation or sound to maximize presence. Images are usually in a high-aspect ratio shape (i.e. either wide and short, or tall and narrow). These images are then placed on web pages.

Web banners function the same way as traditional advertisements are intended to function: notifying consumers of the product or service and presenting reasons why the consumer should choose the product in question, although web banners differ in that the results for advertisement campaigns may be monitored real-time and may be targeted to the viewer's interests.

TGM Designs can help you plan and implement an effective banner advertising campaign. We will design your banners using the standard banner sizes set by the IAB. We can also help market your banners and can even set up central ad servers for you to run your own campaigns on you website.

    Pay Per Click

There are 2 major PPC tools that cover 95% of web searches - Google Adwords (50%) and Yahoo! Overture (45%). With these services your 'ad' appears in a prime position on the first page of the requested search and you only pay when people click through from your advertisement to your website. We offer several services to help clients manage their online campaigns.

Some advantages to this method are:

Your ranking does not fluctuate. You decide how much you want to pay and we track your ranking to ensure you stay where you want to.
You are not at the mercy of the search engine algorithms. Website placement can change up or down according to the search engine algorithms currently used by the search engines, with pay-per-click you have consistency.
On many searches people click on pay-per-click results over the actual search results returned by the search engine.
You may be getting good rankings on some natural searches, but pay-per-click is a good method to fill in the gaps. This is applicable to all business as it is virtually impossible to rank highly on all search terms.

    Google AdWords
Reach people when they are actively looking for information about your products and services online, and send targeted visitors directly to what you are offering. With AdWords cost-per-click pricing, it's easy to control costs-and you only pay when people click on your ad.

Your ads will appear to users searching on the search page and/or content web pages relevant to the keywords you have selected for your campaigns.

You can also decide to make your ad only viewable in a specific region, area or language, providing a much greater conversion rate as you are only targeting customers that you can sell to and more likely to convert.

    Overture
You set the price you're willing to pay for each customer who clicks on your listing. Unlike direct mail, you won't have to pay for mailing lists, printing or postage, and you won't pay for impressions as with banner ads and tiles. You pay only for the interested customers who actually click through to your site.

Overture's listings appear in search results on the Web's leading sites and advertisers have received over 170 million highly targeted sales leads per month. Overture enables businesses to potentially reach 90% of active Internet users.

    Miva
Bid-for-position technology allows you to set the amount you wish to pay for each keyword. You can view the current competing bid prices on your keywords at any time. You can change your bid price at any time.

Miva only targets the customers that are actively looking for the product or services that your business offers by using keywords.

    Directory Listings

Unlike search engines which send out their own "spiders" to collect information on web sites, directories rely on the human element. First, sites must be submitted for consideration. Then, they are evaluated by the directory's staff and are possibly accepted for inclusion. It does require time and effort but getting listed can generate a large amount of traffic for your site.

    Yahoo!
Yahoo is the #1 site for Internet searches, but getting listed with them isn't always easy. To even be considered, you would need to pay a fee and wait for their review. The fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee you a spot in the directory

    LookSmart
When included in Looksmart, your links will also appear in search results at MSN, Excite, Time Warner, Alta Vista, Juno, Prodigy, and more. Like Yahoo, Looksmart charges a fee just to review your site for possible inclusion.

    DMOZ
The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors.
